CAPTIVE IN COVENTRY
Reports from behind the lines in the Coventry 'Green-Zone'
Greetings from behind the lines.
THURSDAY MORNING AUG 12:
The first emergency crisis: telephones lines
are down at Human Services. Karen steps into
the fray and coordinates alternative emergency
telephone communication.
Our first encounter with a Phishhead occured this morning.
A "dude" from Massachusettes, (who swore that the wet spot
on his pants was spilled coffee not something else) fell in
love with our roadside signage. We took reciprocal video of
each other and then he was on his way towards the airport.
At 11AM we decide to walk up to the Post Office lest we
get stranded on the way back if we go by car.
Chatting with Tim Bogar of B&B Computers across from the
Post Office in downtown Coventry. He's heading down to St. J
to make a UPS pickup. I'm not sure he's going to make it back.
On our way back home, the Coventry Station Rd roadblock.
Traffic is flowing at a pretty steady rate now. More close
encounters with mobile Phishheads on their way to the airport.

Peace and good vibes from California

More happy vibes from out of state.

And some clandestine, Secret Service, FBI type vibes too.
At 12:19 the first car came to a halt in front of our driveway
meaning traffic was officially backed up 6 miles to the airport.
2 and a half hours later I can still see that blue Chevy
pickup truck standing on the bridge over the Black River. It would
seem to me that something is amiss.
